In Rhino 8 the software does not seem to remember the layer on/off, color etc. of linked blocks and the drawing is reset when reopening. This happens both in model space and in the viewport.
Is this a known issue?
I think I was able to do this in Rhino 7 and then use linked blocks as a sort of reference system.
These are my settings. I am inserting a Microstation file, but happens with all formats I think.
Reference is turned off in layout view, but on restart of Rhino it is turned back on. I assume because the block is reinserted.
Is there a way to avoid this behavior?
Also the issue is the same in Rhino 7. It was wrong about it in the above post.
