Large cone like shape in Rhino preview window

Hi,

I am new to Rhino so please forgive the potentially basic question but I have not found a solution to this on any forum/online yet.

Recently, whenever I use Rhino and Grasshopper I get this large cone like shape in my preview screen on rhino:

I don’t have any scripts or blocks that would create this kind of geometry and I can’t enable/disable it anywhere when clicking through my script. Can someone help me understand what’s going on here?

Here’s a screenshot of my grasshopper file too:

Using Rhino 7 on a mac but windows version using parallels.

Thanks!

I’ll bet you do :exclamation:

The transparent red geometry you are seeing is the previews of the objects generated by your grasshopper file.

You can tell by their color that all of the objects in your grasshopper file have preview enabled. If you disable preview (by right-clicking on a component and un-checking Preview) the color changes to grey. You can also turn off preview for multiple components by selecting them then right clicking on the canvas and selecting Preview Off.

If you select one or more of the components in your grasshopper file, the appearance of the selected object(s) in the Rhino window should change.

You can change the preview properties of normal and selected objects by clicking this icon in the grasshopper toolbar.

That’s excellent (and very patient) detective work, considering that @Abigail didn’t post her GH file. And that the image of her GH file appears to my eyes to be under-sized?
