Joints problem/Bending moment of secondary beams

Hi,

I am modelling a U-shaped truss bridge. When i applied a UDL to the cross/secondary beams, the bending moment is not showing up which make me think the beam is acting fully rigid, but the overall deformation of the trusslooks correct. I have tried modifying joint restraints and cannot seem to figure it out. I would greatly appreciate if someone could give it a look at!

Hi, all your elements are set to “trusses” and therefore do not have bending stiffness. You need to set those beams to be standard beams and apply joints at the ends of the beams.
