I exported a vector map of the rivers from Europe and would like to join them to see which rivers are connected. I tried to join, merge and rebuild but it did not work. I understand it is a large file but I was wondering if anybody knows how this would work. I included a picture. (also some curves are not exactly connected which might be a problem.

Problem is in Rhino one cannot join curves that do not touch end-to-end within tolerance, nor join curves into non-manifold structures (i.e. “Y”-like structures where more than two curves are joined at single point). So branching structures like rivers or trees cannot be joined in this way.
the question one should ask why you need all the curves (i assume these are curves) to join what are you next steps or what is your intention for the final product?
