Item Selector Reliability

HAS anyone else found Item Selector to be less than wholly reliable?

Or is it just me? Sometimes previous selections don’t stick.

I have found that returning later to a Definition, sometimes the selections have been lost or scrambled or default to a single item in a list. Is there a known particular problem when Item Selectors are used inside a Cluster?

And/or is there a workaround, please?

I doubt that Andrew Heumann is actively maintaining Human and Metahopper. Rhino 9 has a Value Picker
