Issues: 1) Arrow heads disappearing & 2) Can't save as a rasterized PDF

Hey guys,

I’m having a strange issue with arrowheads disappearing. When I attempt to leave a dimension, the arrowhead shows until I click to finalize. Interestingly, when I click on the set dimension, the arrowhead shows.

This seems to occur randomly.

Below shows the action when clicking and dragging with my mouse.

Once I click to set the dimension, the arrows vanish:

… and if I then click on the dimension, you can see the arrowheads in yellow:

The second issue is when trying to save as a rasterized PDF. Both the preview pane as well as the saved file go blank when choosing ‘rasterized’ over vector. The vector file saves fine.

Any insights are appreciated.

Update - I checked the dialogue box when right clicking on the dimensions and all the settings indicate an arrow should be present. It still shows up / arrowhead is visible when selecting the items in yellow, but once I deselect, the arrows vanish. I changed the size and arrow style hoping it would have a positive effect, but to no avail.

Hoping someone can chime in.

Hi -
Please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste the output here.

Hi -
Thanks for the log.

I’m on a very similar machine and am not seeing this issue here. Based on that, I’d start by updating to macOS 15.3.
-wim

Thanks Wim.
Downloading the update as we speak. I’ll let you know.
-Mike

Hi Wim -
I’ve installed the update but this did not remedy things. Arrowheads are still missing. Would you be open to me sending you the file to see if you’re getting the same issue on your end?
-Mike

Hi Mike -

Yes please. You can use Rhino Accounts to send the file. Please put a link to this topic in the comments field on that page.
