Issue with rendering lighting

Hi, Ilight.3dm (1.9 MB) have an issue rendering the rectangular-shaped light in vray. After I add the light tool to the figure while rendering there is NO SIGN of the light even there. What’s happening here. I have added the images and models below. Even after increasing the light intensity, the light does not appear in the render. Please help.

Funny, you did anything wrong. :wink:

  • disable portal light
  • move light below the geometry and don’t place it inside the emitter
  • set directionality 0 or above, but not 1
  • increase intensity at something like 500 or 5000
