Issue with layouts and background color

I was actually trying to do this in Rhino 9 but my gpu crashed. Rhino 9 is using much more vram for this.

But here, in Rhino 8, there is no background color coming through in the detail view.

I am using ‘print display’ on.

Ensure that the Background Color/Bitmap Visibility is turned on in the Print Settings.

Thank you. It shows up at print but not in the layout view. So with white outlines it is impossible to work with.

I am talking about the solid color option. Background image may very well appear, since I see that artistic mode behaves differently. But here I am using technical.

I’m seeing that as well. There is an existing feature request, i’ll bump this and see if we can get it into Rhino 9. RH-64991 PrintPreview Background Color and Background Image Enhancement
