Isometric-View Right-Mouse Rotate in RH8?

In Rhino-7, when in Isometric (Parallel) view, the right-mouse-button-click-drag could be used to rotate the camera. That was nice.

Now in Rhino 8, when in Isometric (Parallel) view, the same right-mouse-button-click-drag no longer performs any camera rotation.

In Rhino 8 right now, when in Isometric view:

  • :white_check_mark: Cmd-Ctrl-Shift + Left or Right mouse rotates
  • :white_check_mark: “RotateView” rotates
  • :x: Right-mouse does not rotate. Instead now it Pans.

The right-click-rotate does work in Perspective mode. Can I make Rhino-8 work like Rhino-7 and rotate the camera in both view types using right-mouse-click-and-drag?

Environment:

  • Mac M1
  • MacOS Ventura 13.6.3
  • 8.6.24093.11002, 2024-04-02

on windows, ctrl-shit-right-mouse-button rotates any planar or isometric view. after you rotate it once, the right mouse button will be remapped to rotate, while pan becomes shif-right mouse butto
