Yes, we hope that yak will eventually replace RHI. We know there are plenty of existing RHIs out there, so we can’t just drop support for RHI installs. I wouldn’t recommend creating new RHIs moving forward.
An RHI is a renamed zip file. If you rename the rhi to zip and unzip it, you can follow the instructions for creating a yak package from these resources at
