Is there button/icon or command to turn on all layers?

Hello,

Is there button/icon or command to turn on all layers?

The reason I ask is that:

  • I believe I am correct in my understanding that I need to turn all layers on, before saving, in order for all the layers to be saved?
  • I save often, and use a lot of layers

any help would be much appreciated, thank you in advance!

You’re mistaken.
A layer’s visibility state has no effect on it being saved.

-Layer On *
will turn all layers on.

Hi Julie,

You don’t need to show all the layers before you save your file. All the content is going to be safe no matter if it’s visible or hidden. Layers are just a way of organizing your file.

Ok, great, thank you for your quick replies, I really appreciate it!

(I am also using Matrix ver8, and there is something called job bags…I guess it isn’t really a “save”…I shall find out more about this! I have not been saving every time I job bag…perhaps I should start to do that as best practices!.)
