Here is my computer test. Mine is faster in V6, have you verified your video driver is the most up to date? You should post your system info from the Rhino 6 help menu. It’ll help the Mcneel guys out.
I just made up a file to do the test. Didn’t notice your text dots. How many do you have in there? I can replicate it closer if it will help. I added 50 text dots to the file and retested. Here are my results.
Looks like Rhino 6 was still in the lead for me. Hope your updated drivers help you out. I’m going to test this out again when I get home since I have a K2000 card there. I’ve got an AMD card here at work.
Hello - testMaxSpeed is about three times faster here in V6 than in V5. Try setting up V5 and V6 with the same sized viewport and no floating toolbars etc and see what testMaxSpeed tells you - then at least you can compare more directly.
Hi,
I think have find the response at the probleme. the cause is may be rhino5
1 I start my computer
2 i run rhino 6
3 I test the file with rhino 6 and i see than rhino 6 is mor faster than rhino 5.
4 i run rhino 5 and i test the file and i see the rhino 5 is slower than rhino 6.
But if i close rhino 6 and I run a new rhino 6 instance and i run the file test in rhino 6, i See the rhino 6 is more slow than rhino5 !!!
can you test this procedure for see if its the same in on your side
I just tried following your steps, but I can’t reproduce the problem. Rhino 6 ran at the same speed both times. You might have to give more detailed instructions, or maybe this happens because of your specific hardware configuration.
Please paste the information from Rhino 6 found in Help -> System Information...
