Installing plugin and putting them in the Plugin directory

I downloaded Aupecker and i am trying to load it. Cant find the plugin directory not sure how to move the plugin folder to the plugin directory.

Hi Tom - the plug-in, RHP file, does not need to be anyplace special - just save it someplace that makes sense, and drag and drop onto a Rhino window to install. (if you move the file you’ll need to drag and drop again). You can out it in the plug-in directory

“C:\Program Files\Rhinoceros 5 (64-bit)\Plug-ins”

for 64 bit Rhino

or

“C:\Program Files (x86)\Rhinoceros 5\Plug-ins”

for 32.

Hi Pascal, is there a way to save them in a custom directory?

Hi - is there a specific plug-in you are wondering about?
-wim

I’m using mostly rhp and rui files. I know plugins with installation files like t-spline are hard to manage, but I’m just curious if rhino has a function to centrally manage most rhp type plugins like grasshopper does.
