Incorrect display of some objects when block instance is on locked layer

Curve and breps are on layers Continuous and DashDot.
All objects are made into a block.
Block instance is on layer BlockInst.

V5 displays the model as I expect, but in V6, 7.19, & WIP (8.0.22166.4305, 2022-06-15), curves and breps are sometimes displayed incorrectly. Points and annotations display correctly. As shown below, whether a layer has continuous versus other linetype may also affect the display.

Locked Objects settings are found in Display Modes - Wireframe - Objects.
(Although display problem is not exclusive to Wireframe.)
