Importing Longitude/Latitude data from a Excel file

Hi Guys,

i keep struggling with this task. I have an rather unconventional set of coordinate points in a normal
excel file. I need to locate all of them onto my model.

I already found out about gHowl and learning its capabilities right now. Since it supports a .csv file format I am thinking about editing a existing .csv gps file and paste my points into that manually. That is the best solution I found so far.

I have only longitude and latitude, no elevation. Do you have a more simple idea how i get those points into my file? I am open for any ideas to get that done.

There are several Grasshopper plug-ins that read Excel files. This one seems to make some users happy:
