Import PDF file to headless Rhino

Hi,

I have been trying to automate the process of exporting a layout to DWG using the “Print-to-PDF → Import-PDF → Export-DWG” method described in this post: Export a Layout to DWG - Rhino / Rhino for Windows - McNeel Forum

I’m getting some unpredictable behavoir when trying to achive this using a headless Rhino. Sometimes the script seems to work. Other times it produces a blank DWG.
Could someone perhaps shed some light on what is happening here?

I’m aware of the Rhino 8 method, FilePdf.Read(), which might hold the key to the solution, but for now I’m stuck with getting this working in Rhino 7.

Any help or pointers will be highly appriciated!

I’m not surprised that this isn’t working. Headless docs have some outstanding issues where layouts are not being generated.
