Image Edge detection

Hi, I need to detect edges of shapes in the pictures in grasshopper. Although I used the Firefly plug-in for that, it did not work properly, and the quality is not so good. Is anyone able to help me with this issue?

Have you tried Vectorize?

You can download it from the package manager.

Hi Martin, I just tried installing the latest version from Package Manager, but I can’t seem to find the Grasshopper component, nor do I see any .gha files named Vectorize. How did you get it working?

It should be in your roaming appdata:
"...\AppData\Roaming\McNeel\Rhinoceros\packages\8.0\Vectorize\8.4.24044\VectorizeGh.gha"

and appear in a gh canvas search:

And in the Curve|Util toolbar.

Yes, looking at Dale’s github repositories, the release with grasshopper support is R8 only. There’s an old repository for R7 and that does not include any grasshopper support.
