How to surface a ancient old wooden ship proprely

Hi,

I would like to “surface” a hull design (an old sloop), I tried 2 rails and Loft but each time, I get a surface with bumps, it’s not smooth, there are bumps everywhere, I don’t know what to do to have a clean, smooth hull, can you help me pls ?

Here is the file :
ship.7z (647.3 KB)

You have too many sections for creating a smooth loft or sweep. Also, you won’t be able to sweep past a kink smoothly in one go.
Try to use as few cross sections as possible, and try to minimize the point count for each section. For creating the smoothest lofts, use the loose option where your input curves all have the same amount of control points.
You can also use sweep1 or sweep2 's Simple option (Rhino 5, Rhino 6 will do this automatically) if the following conditions are met:
• Both rail curves have the same structure, degree and amount of controlpoints
• All section curves have the same structure, degree and amount of controlpoints
• The endpoints of the sections are connected to the end or editpoints

Ok, thanks, I will try all of that.
