How to scale size of items BUT leave the center points of all scaled items in the exact same place

Hm - dunno yet - these are all tangent bezier segments, but far from G2, maybe from an illustration package, possibly? My guess is a G2 version of this shape might offset better, maybe…

Pascal Golay, I don’t have the slightest understanding of what you are telling me. What does G2 mean? Google is not being my friend in this…

Hi David - I have not had a chance to test but I suspect all the tangent faces in the object are not playing well with the offsetter - a more continuous version of the shape (G2 = curvature continuous) - not really practical using degree 3 beziers, but easy enough using Rhino’s tools - might offset more cleanly.

Thanks everyone! I’ve found that a combination of the ideas presented here plus only picking a few items at a time to work with has made a big difference in results. The more items I grab at a time, even if they are totally unconnected with one another, the more likely it will get confused.
