How To Remove Material In A 3D Object

Hello,

Can someone please tell me the best way to knock out (remove) the arch shape all the way through the 3d box? Basically I just want to remove that arch in 3d (its only drawn in 2d)

Hello - WireCut extend your curve a bit below the edge of the box to make sure to get a clean cut.

Is there any way to keep the part that was cut out?

Hi -
The WireCut command has a Keep All option. Always make sure to check the options in the command line.
