my client will send me a 2d DWG file for me to model into 3d… in the background there is loads of stuff that increase file size… i think this is hidden within blocks. see attached. how do I easy remove ?
it wont let me select all the blocks and just delete as they are all linked…
some are linked so you have to start deleting in order and it gets painful so I wasnt sure if there was a quick way… thanks
Hi - if you don’t need them as blocks, you can just select the blocks and explode them.

sure ok and they they will no longer appear in the block manager?

As Wim said run the explode block command->Allblocks. Then you can run purge to remove the blocks from the block manager.
