How to make an interactive model from Rhino 3D?

Thanks Luis! Your explanation helped fill in the holes of my understanding
of how Iris works. I’m so glad that you were able to view the model and
will send the link to my client for review. Many clients are as mystified
by 3d as I am by CSS and the sort of thing that Iris does but we all love
to be able to play with a 3d model on our own screens. I have had good
results with SketchFab for this sort of thing but they do not have a direct
exporter for Rhino although they have been promising one for some time now.
It took a while for me to work out the intricacies of their site and system
and for quick client review it is a bit of overkill. Funny thing is that I
have had some clients refuse to view their abbreviated links that they run
through Bitly which shortens the web address but adds .ly at the end. They
seem to think that is hosted in Lybia and that there is a danger in
clicking on such a link!

The boat model is much more complex and I will be adding further detail

to it today and sending to the client so I will post it on the forum as
well to help share my experience with you and Iris.

Thanks again

Jody

Maybe you can give Modelo a try, here is an example of using Modelo to generate an interactive web based presentation of a Rhino model. https://beta.modelo.io/share-token/ArrhH7O1kG
