Is it possible to have Rhino to save & shutdown automatically after passage of a predetermined amount of inactivity time? For instance after 60 minutes of inactivity?
This is very useful when having a limited amount of licences in a company, and makes it a lot easier to free up unused capacity. I’m familiar with this functionality from Microstation.
I think in the Idle Processor section of Options, you could program it with something like
Save Exit
However, if the file has not yet been saved, it will popup the Save dialog and wait…
Another alternative might be to script something more sophisticated - like automatically naming and saving an unsaved file - and add the script as a command/alias, then run that from Idle Processor.
