How to fill this hole with subD workflow?

Hey everyone,

I am new to the SubD modelling workflow and I am having problems with this pipe connection.
Its for a bicycle seat-tube. Maybe someone has the time to help me with this part.
Please take a look :slight_smile:

A general question: Is it better to have 100% squares in a subD model or are triangles “ok” to use?

I’d try to avoid triangular faces. Start with something like this:
