How to Create a New Type While Inside the Family File

Hello everyone!

I have a relatively simple difficulty, but I don’t know how to solve it.

I need to create a new Type with RIR directly within the Family document.

I know it’s pretty easy with the Revit UI, but there will be hundreds of families and I need the Type component for my code to work.

Does anyone know how I can do this?

You can duplicate a type and then set its parameters, like so…

Unfortunately this method doesn’t work for me, but luckily I was able to solve my problem.

Anyway, thanks for the help!

I’ve made a component flow that creates a new Type and a View Parameter that leaves only his enabled, I’ll use it to be able to create several different Detail Items with the same family.

It is attached for those who want it.
