How to convert the Mesh ID

Hi all,

I have a question about the Mesh ID.

I want to get the Mesh ID when I convert the surface to Mesh.

I can not get the Mesh ID

I found a solution I need to bake the mesh to get back to mesh ID.

Is there any way to get the Mesh ID

Hi -

Yes, that’s correct. An object needs to be added to the Rhino document to get an ID. Before baking, the object doesn’t exist in Rhino.
