How to Align two objects in 3D

How do you align two objects in 3 dimensions?

I need to align multiple instances of this ring to these poles all at different angles. How can I copy them and snap them to the different angles?

I am sure there is a quicker way to do it compared to rotating it in 3 separate planar views.
