How to align mesh points?

I thought I could use Align to get just the points shown on this mesh aligned on the Z axis, but I haven’t had any success.

How can we do this? I’m guessing it’s probably a command somewhere else, but not sure.

SetPt is what you are looking for…

You can also click on to the small scale handle of the gumball (i.e. green rectangle) and scale them to 0.0. This will also align them.

Thanks - I tried this out, but it’s a bit weird - I couldn’t figure out what to do to get the points to align to anything; generally, it seems to just stretch out the model on the Z axis.
