How do you make an edge fillet follow a non-planar surface?

Hello, I’m attempting to fillet an edge of this polysurface: fillet non-planar.3dm (80.4 KB) at this corner of the polysurface:

. When I attempt to fillet with a radius of 2", the fillet is created outside the curve of the polysurface.

I’m attempting to simulate a 1/2" thick pad that will be adhered to a bent piece of plywood.
