Hi,

I need some help modifying this node in either Grasshopper or Rhino. I have made this spaceframe node using multipipe in Grasshopper. However, I am looking to modify the lower sections (as seen in the curves image) so that I can 3D print it potentially without support. The black lines indicate how I would like the new geometry to drape. I want the final geometry to look like one organic form and not as though I have just joined two disparate pieces of geometry.

If anyone could please help I would be hugely appreciative.

This is a potential ShrinkWrap workflow (Latest Rhino 8 WIP)

Here i populated the curves and bottom surfaces with points to create a quick low res structure. Creating a rough solid or surfaces for the structure then wrapping would yield better results.

I’ve just downloaded Rhino 8 WIP, I’ll have a play around with it now…
