Hops slower than clusters

Hi

I’m trying to implement hops (v0.4.7) on Rhino 7 but am finding that they end up being much slower than just using a cluster, which defeats the whole purpose. This is consistent across different hops, not just the one shown below.

As described here, changing the ‘Local computer’ setting doesn’t seem to do anything. What I have noticed is that re-executing the hops is much faster but I’m guessing this is do to the cache setting.

Is there something I’ve missed to make the hops run faster the first time around? @stevebaer

It’s hard to evaluate what would cause a slowdown based on a screenshot.

It looks like you are only feeding a single element into hops component so it probably won’t make much of a difference in performance to what you would get with a cluster.
