If I check my posts/responses by clicking on my avatar (upper RH corner), and I see a post that has been “edited” by someone @McNeel (presumably to indicate "handled) like the following…

If I click on it in the yellow area, I get this:

Other posts do not do this and I have never seen this before… Something new?

That appeared since mid August, perhaps @discourse added it as a feature, but in this particular case of moderators marking topics it is quite useless.
