Higher resolution mesh

Hi all !

I have meshes that I 3D scanned (metascan/photogrammetry) and imported in rhino. Unfortunately at the moment they look a bit polygoned, especially when I scale them up. What would be the process to make them less polygoned without losing too much detailing of the scans ?

I’m looking to export them to stl to 3D print them.
Thank you !

You can try QuadRemesh > SubD
If you post an example file I can give better advise what to do based on the actual mesh you are working with.

On this image you can see the polygones

I have 3D printed this one, and it came out quite polygoned

Thank you for your reply,
I have tried Quad remesh and found that it completely smoothed out the surface of my shape, without leaving any interesting details so I’m trying with other commands too, but so far it’s not the result I hope yet

Try this:
Turn to flat shading so you can see the actual mesh without the artificial smoothing

Select the mesh, _Subdivide twice, then run _Smooth with these settings:

Hi,
Thank you so much for your response, it’s much better already
