How to obtain higher polygon count on closed mesh?

I was wondering if Rhino has the opposite command of “reduce mesh”.
In other words, is it possible to obtain a higher and so smoother mesh from a previously reduce mesh?

I can’t go back to the original one as I previously altered its geometry.

Thanks a lot in advance!

In the Rhino 7 WIP there’s a new command called SubDivide which will subdivide the faces of a mesh but it won’t make it smoother as the faces will still be flat just subdivided. The Smooth command could smooth the result but it may not be what you’re after. There may also be a plugin option or add-on for Grasshopper that could subdivide a mesh for you.

thanks Brian!
at the end I used another software to smooth the geometries.

Hi there ! I’m having similar issues, which software did you end up using to smooth your meshes ? I’m trying to 3D print shapes so need to export them into stls, let me know !
