Hexagonal circle

Hi guys
I made this script of hexagonal circle (is there a specified name for this pattern?), and I believe there is a much more elegant and efficient way to make this.

Any ideas on how?

I have used Fennec and Anemone plugins in the script, the rest are native GH components.

Thanks!

Amazing!
Thanks a lot.
Is there way to make each circle as a brench with the hexagon being the list?

no plugins, more flexibility

Thanks, but the hexagons are too diformed and the pattern is not seamless

True in the image but this is where flexibility comes in, you can control both the proportions of the hexagons and whether or not it is seamless. The added benefit is that it exposes you fully to the logic of the algorithm, allowing you more freedom than a plug in. So the trade-off is ease versus customizability

Did you check the original script that I uploaded? It has a lot of flexibility and full logic of the process.

Whatever works best for you is the best tool and the best script for the task.

I’m missing the plugins, so the script doesn’t work for me.
