Hangs.... aka stalls

Every 20 minutes or so Rhino will just stall for me when I am in shaded mode. Everything will freeze for 10 or 15 seconds. It doesn’t matter what size the file is. I have a fairly new computer with 8gb of gpu. The cpu is an 8 core ryzen. This has only been happening this year. It is not autosave. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I suspect you need a graphic driver update (or two), but it could be a plug-in.
How many monitors are you running and at what resolution?

Please run Rhino V6’s SystemInfo command and post the results.
That will give us a good overview or your setup.

Just one monitor. It is a 4k monitor. An all in one Dell inspiron 7775.

Your display driver is quite old.
Here’s a lilnk to a new driver released earlier today:

There are a couple of suspect plug-ins, but the most likely cause is the old AMD driver.

Any luck?

Hmm I’ve seen something like this too…my Nvidia driver is a little old, will update and see.

I updated my driver and my machine did not like it. The mouse can not even go smoothly across the screen without a lag without Any programs open. I did the auto install.

went to the dell website and downloaded a driver for my machine and now it works. It auto detected it.
