Gumball Input

Hi @mathieu1 ,
It will be great to activate Gumball Input just with a click on the object which have to be moved! Like in Rhino!
This will make my interactions more efficient and more than that will simplify a lot my menu through eliminating all ‘Strat Gumball’ commands - and I have a lot!
Is this possible?
Thanks,

We are planning to improve this workflow in the next plugin update.

Could you let me know if, in the case of your application, each “Gumball Input” component only accepts one object or several through the name filter?

Would it not be possible for you to reduce the number of buttons by referencing more than one object for each “Gumball Input” component (for example by using the wildcard *)?

Hi @mathieu1
To a single gumball there are attached the control points from a given category (example: profile ends -2 points, profile >2,….). But my concept is based on direct interaction so I have many categories each one grouped in a gumball.
Also with point inputs I generate 1 object for any point input but I have as many point inputs as the number of objects I want to create.

I don’t know what a wildcard is! Can you give me a reference to read about it? Thank you!
