Technically, CAM software should be able to handle small leaks these days. It could just be a matter of certain settings. But the leaks can certainly be closed up if necessary.
Hello I would like to merge multple surfaces into 1 accurately. If i use smooth= yes it will change the shape, when I use smooth=no, it will keep the shape unchanged but if i merge multiple surface it will have problem, so last step I use rebuild, but it doesn’t follow my guide curve anymore. Do anyone have better methods? thanks

I disagree. That’s why the scans should be done properly. While reverse engineering, even bad scans, is still important for establishing a principally accurate starting point.
Yes, agreed. But the design intent should be the gauge used for these decisions.

Indeed. There’s a few things I’m noticing here upfront per say. It’s all a matter of design intent – the proverbial words I’m probably going to say every day because it’s just the way things are (or rather are they), pun intended.
