Growth Simulation - adjusting complexity

Hello Forum.
I’m trying to create complex ‘aesthetically pleasing’ growth patterns…but I’m pretty underwhelmed by my efforts. My pattern isn’t particularly geometric or nice to look at…and it has intersections where the polyline crosses itself.
How can I turbo-charge my pattern generation…within the boundary area?
I’m inspired by fancy geometric computer art…and this is a starting point for me.
PS. I’m trying not to use Parakeet for this solution because I’m looking to use Shape Diver (which isn’t catered for ATM).
