reaching out to grasshopper and inventor users, maybe someone can help =]
I’m working on a file in Grasshopper of solid bodies and would like to import it into inventor so it can still be an auto updated file - in case i would like to change something in grasshopper later on.
I’ve tried importing step files but i need the curves from the rhino files so i can use them in ‘frame generator’ feature inside inventor.
One of the main problems - the solids i get in inventor are not usable, they are different then the ones I’ve created in grasshopper =[ The fillets are not radius anymore but splines and inventor is not showing any of the bodies curves and lines. in addition to that - the planer bodies are not usable. wanted to use inventor assembly for attaching additional parts to planes (using constrains) but that’s not possible because i don’t have any planer area to constrain them to.
would be happy to hear some advice about this subject.
