Grasshopper version not supported?

I just tried to upload a script to Shapediver, but got presented with this error:

Does that mean I have to downgrade Grasshopper somehow?

It seems you are authoring the Grasshopper model using Rhino 8, but trying to upload to the Rhino 6 shared system. We will get in touch regarding an upgrade to your subscription.

Ah, I see. We will use Rhino 7 in the meantime and it worked with that.

@snabela I’m getting the same error when trying to upload:
Model was stored using an unsupported version of Grasshopper (1.0.8)

I don’t have a Rhino 7 version to use, though.

I see this as my backend system:
sdr7euc1 Rhino 7, shared Geometry Backend https://sdr7euc1.eu-central-1.shapediver.com
7.35.23346.11001

1.0.0007

1.17.1.0

@Morgan_Kelsey the message is confusing, we already improved it but the deployment will only happen this coming week.

You need to switch to the shared Rhino 8 system called sdr8euc1. Note that you need a paid subscription to use this system.

@snabela so the free version is only for rhino7 and older? Are there any plans to change that in the future?

There will likely be a way for free users to use Rhino 8 in the future, although we do not have a precise plans or a timeline for this transition yet.
