Grasshopper takes 1-5 minutes to load (Rhino 8)

Hi Rhino,

I recently upgraded from Rhino 7 to Rhino 8 and noticed I had problems loading up grasshopper. Grasshopper itself works fine, but it’s the loading issue that bothers me as from what I know, it should automatically load in the first 10 seconds. I’m not very tech savy, but these past few days I have been trying several methods to fix this issue

  1. Deleting Rhino 8
  2. Deleting third party plugins
  3. Grasshopper onebyone (mentioned from another similar thread, but didn’t work)
  4. Deleting the grasshopper folder found in libraries

At first, I thought it was a third party plug in issue, but I only have ladybug installed. I tried comparing the other plugins to another friend who is also using rhino 8 with no problems, but to no avail, I am back to square one.

Please let me know what’s the best way to fix this solution, and I can’t wait to hear from the community!
