Hi, I noticed a important change I was unable to find in changelog. Previously, when you plugged a SubD into Mesh param in grasshopper, you got the control mesh of the SubD. After 8.11, you get the smooth/render mesh. Was this intentional?
I hope not, and this change should be hotfixed out.
The behaviour persists even if i lock the solver before opening/recreate the connection in a new file.
This here has nothing to do with the solver. Just look at the other topic it sums up the whole discussion.
You are not addressing the core issue, and that is data casting changing significantly between versions with no change log.

I see what you’re reporting and have filed https://mcneel.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/RH-83829 with an example file for the developers. In the meantime, you’ll need to use the SubD Control Polygon component instead.
