Grasshopper performance significantly slower on Mac than Windows

My large definition computes in 130 seconds on GH Windows vs. 230 seconds on GH Mac.

This is on the same Mac Pro (trashcan Mac) running bootcamp on the Windows side. So identical hardware in both OS’s.

Grasshopper is generating all of the geometry and there is no rendering involved.

Has anyone found similar Grasshopper performance problems on the Mac?

Any directions for reducing the difference?

could you share your definition? i am also interested in that topic, i dont often use grasshopper but when i did it last meddling with a more or less involved definition i felt it could be quite a bit faster (subjectively), though i used the commonly depreciated populate component which seems to be very bad in general i still had the feeling it should not be that slow.
