I’m having trouble understanding what the glitch is that you are seeing. Is the grid drawing incorrectly?

Does this happen with all display mode?

Have you customized your display modes? If so, could you share the customizations?

Thanks for testing this

Curves are faded and looks like there is an extra grid showing is the image not clear?

Only when I am in 4 view when I interact or create those circles it stays like this on all views

This is wip 9 default with dark mode only nothing more than that

That’s really odd. Did you restart Rhino after switching to Direct3D?

Yes even restarted pc after gpu driver update

just tried it again looks to me its 2 viewports intersecting as soon as i start a command

very trippy

Does this happen if you turn off antialiasing?

antialias off fixes it but does not look nice

Great; at least we now know where to look to try and make fixes

Is the display always like this or only when you’re done doing something? For example: If you rotate or pan the view, do you still see this, or does it disappear only to reappear once you stop rotating/panning?

So far I cannot reproduce this on any NVidia GPU atm. I do not have the RTX 2070, but I do have several other RTX GPUs that are similar, and so far they all work as expected.

Are you running any other type of background software that monitors application events? Things like Capture software, FPS tracking, OSD (On Screen Display), Stereo 3D… that type of thing???

It’s just very odd that this seems to be an isolated case (so far), and that we cannot reproduce it…which is why I’m starting to think this might be specific to your configuration and/or running applications.

If possible, try recording this behavior…from starting Rhino, to drawing a couple/few circles… Sometimes we can see things that others might not…and a video can go a long way.

Still digging on this one…

Thanks,
-J

Also, have you made any tweaks to the NVidia Control Panel? If so, which ones, and what settings are used?

-J

One more thing…

What do other display modes show? Shaded, Ghosted, Rendered, etc..

-J

Hi Jeff

First time recording with OBS hope it works

I am not running anything else other than wip

Nvidia settings it seems to have taken what i have on rhinoceros 8:

i just did a restore on the nvidia settings to default and it seems to have gone away and is working normal there has to be something on there causing this

Thanks for letting us know and good to hear this is working now.
