It was not working on several occasions. I also tried both, greater and smaller values, as well as any combination of other settings, but still not working. Here is an example (and a 3dm file on PM):

I can’t find this mentioned in the list of fixed bugs in the latest WIP. Is it made for a future update that’s not yet available?
A few weeks ago I noticed that some other fixes were also not mentioned in the corresponding topic, including the crash fix of a very nasty bug that crashed Rhino 9 WIP a couple of weeks ago upon turning the layers on and off.
@Rhino_Bulgaria I don’t know why this particular fix is not mentioned. I believe the crash bug with layers is mentioned, but it was not related to layers but tooltips instead iirc
As I mentioned in one of my crash reports about 10-15 days ago (not sure about the exact date), Rhino 9 WIP crashed even after pressing Undo to revert the state of the layers and gidden/shown objects. I had this on a video, too. But I’m glad that 99% ot these crashes stopped after the fix.
I know, but all the crashes that you sent pointed to the same tooltip issue.
