GH custom preview not working in rendered mode
since Version 8 SR14 (8.14.24345.15001, 2024-12-10)
Since this update was installed some GH custom preview elements do not show in rhino rendered mode WHEN SHADOWS ARE ON, but do when shadows turned off…
I copied the whole script into a new GH file and it started to work again, but then it stopped!!
Any advice? thanks

You can try a newer version or try troubleshooting a possible conflict with a 3rd Party plugin.
Troubleshooting typically involves starting Rhino in Safe mode and loading Grasshopper via the command line with GrasshopperLoadOneByOne and saying no to 3rd party plugins.
Thanks for the reply Japhy. Actually only happens with certain custom previews, but not all of them??
Can you provide and example file and steps to repeat?
There as a recent possibly related youtrack that has a fix in 8.15
