GH Component in TS 2022 / RH 8: Not responding and missing Profile Input

Having a few issues with the Grasshopper Component in TS 2022 and Rhino 8 even though it works fine via the Tekla Live link option. This Script is based on the Twin profiles Script from @sebastian.lindholm video’s on You-Tube.

Everything works if i move the sliders in Grasshopper directly, but even after loading the file into the Grasshopper Component on the Tekla side the sliders there have no effect on the geometry like in the video. I also tried just starting without the Grasshopper open on the Rhino side and neither this not starting from a fresh as if i wanted to put a new Profile in Tekla using the script didn’t work either.
I did see someone else’s comment on the order things had to be clicked, but even this didn’t work unfortunately.

Also it maybe related i don’t know but the Grasshopper component on the Tekla side also don’t list the Profile under the settings like i would expect it to just the slider.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks, but my Grasshopper code works fine, and its using the minimum amount of components possible. The issue is on the Tekla side when running through the Grasshopper Component in Tekla (Rhino.Inside) and not if you move the sliders in the Grasshopper script. Though I did test to see if i switch the Tekla line component (ln) for the Tekla Points like you had it, but this also made no difference.

OK i found the issue why the Grasshopper Component doesn’t work in Tekla, but what doesn’t make sense is i have installed the Tekla live link on the Grasshopper side and set the Runtime to .Net Framework for Rhino V8 and the live link is looking at the right version of Tekla but still not connecting but everything works fine on the Grashopper side with the components and getting things from Tekla Just the Rhino.inside Tekla has broken.

Thanks for sharing the fix

Unfortunately that’s the issue not the fix in this case, it says i need to install the Tekla Live Link in Grasshopper, but as you can see from the grasshopper screen that is installed and linked to the right version of Tekla.

Hello Matt,

I can see that you have V1.15 of the GH-Tekla link there, try to update it with V16 WIP located here:
