How do I get material from Revit directshape? I tried the custom note from this link https://www.rhino3d.com/inside/revit/beta/guides/revit-materials, but it reports an error.
Thank you Japhy, that solves part of the issue. Element Material is very useful when element has only one geometry, or maybe when users don’t care about the relationship between geometry and materials.
If I want to grab a directshape with multiple geometries and change material of each geometry, is there a way to do that?
You can do that in the creation of the DirectShape or by painting the faces in the Revit UI.
These are schedulable as well.
