Continuing the discussion from SubstanceImporter 2.0.5 is now available:
Having recently been in a situation where the Package Manager updated a package to a new version which caused a conflict with another plug-in, I uninstalled the new version and reinstalled the older version from the package manager, removing the conflict. The next time I started Rhino, the conflicting update was reinstalled.
I’m not prepared to say how many times I repeated that cycle before I got bored.
Please could we have the option to suspend the automatic updating of a package, pending the resolution of a problem discovered in the new version.
